   In Baffling, Wide-Range Trade, July Corn Plunges Despite China Again Buying
More Corn

   Corn traded nearly a dime higher early Friday. Early morning strength,
however, did not last as July corn plunged at midmorning and closed sharply
lower. Soybeans, bean oil and wheat remained firm for the day after Thursday's
sizable break.

   July corn closed down 31 cents per bushel, July soybeans finished up 2 1/4
cents, July KC wheat was unchanged, July Chicago wheat closed up 5 3/4 cents
and July Minneapolis wheat settled up 1 1/2 cents. The June U.S. Dollar Index
is trading down 0.405 at 90.330. The Dow Jones Industrial Average is up 386.55
points at 34,408.00. June gold is up $17.80 at $1,841.80, July silver is up
$0.36 at $27.42 and July copper is down $0.0370 at $4.6535. June crude oil is
up $1.56 at $65.38, June heating oil is up $0.0353, June RBOB is up $0.0300 and
June natural gas is down $0.015.
